Noalox on cb antenna connections

Noalox is an anti corrosion agent sold by the company Ideal. But I am sure other companies sell similar.

I have read some forums where HAM guys swear by the stuff to prevent corrosion and other reactions between dissimilar metals on their antennas. But I haven't read much about it on cb other than a couple mentions in some antenna companies literature.

Anyone use it real world? Where did you apply it( which joint, threads only or threads and the center, etc)?

Noalox, Penetrox, etc is a anti-oxidant that is a must have for any type of bare metal to metal connection. It will prevent oxidation over time of your antenna connections. Just apply it to the thread connection of your antenna (less is more, don't cake it on) and also where you ground the coax shield to the Jeep.
