So I have an idea for my offroad lights when they get installed... but it sounds too easy so I feel like I'm missing something...
I want to attach my windshield LEDs to an LED flasher so I can either switch them on to use as offroad lights or flip the switch and use them as emergency lights. Am I just overthinking things? Lol
What are the local laws about flashing (blinking) white lights? We put some strobe lights in our news Tahoe's turn signal lights and the local police would make negative comments about them, especially the red tail lights. None of our guys ever got tickets for it but a news camera in you face does that.
I run fire/ems here so we're allowed 2 lights per state law. In other words, i can put as many on the Jeep as i want as long as only 2 are lit at one time. ..
I'm going to put a red tinted cover over the driver's side light but keep the passenger's side white
I would like to think that if you had them wired to 2 different switches..one for the LED flasher and the other for your solid on...it might work then..and in theory I would think that they could only be "on" off of one switch at a time..if you're familiar with wiring the LED flashers and such, just go for it and see what happens lol...got insurance right!?! lol
Lol yeah. .. but i don't want to have to use it haha.
This is what I'm working with...
