Passenger grab bar removal (Versamount 2 installation)

I've seen it here but I can't find it: How-to installation instructions for the removal of the passenger grab bar (Oh sh!t handle) to install a Versamount 2 on a 2013 - 2014 JK Jeep Wrangler.

Help - how do I remove the passenger grab handle?

I guess I should have asked for help in the subject line.

I need a link to the how-to remove the passenger grab bar in late model JK's

To the left of the "Jeep" logo, those 'bolts' need to come out. They are plastic and don't hold anything but the silver trim piece on. Behind the trim, there are actual bolts that hold the grab handle on. Remove the one you need, slide the versamount in there and bolt it all back together. Take about three minutes.

Thank you but..how do I remove the fake plastic bolts?

I actually don't have the Versamount 2 (yet) but I'm looking to remove the passenger grab handle to see the real bolts behind it.

I believe I used an allen wrench and GENTLY backed it out (It's been a while). I can't specifically remember what it looked like when I got it out, but I remember laughing and saying to myself ... "OK, Jeep...that's a crappy idea!"
