polyfill for console subwoofer?

i'm planning on installing a kicker cvt65 sub in place of my sub subwoofer. would adding polyfill to the enclosure be a good idea?

if so, how much is the correct amount?

You don't need to cram it in too tight, make sure it does not push into the back of the speaker and interfere with the movement of the cone. In my experience, it has only helped.

What goose said. Dont pack it too tight, and keep it out of the way of the speaker itself

X3 on what they said, and I recommend packing your speaker pods/ soundbar if you have leftover polyfill and I put some behind the dash speakers as well it makes a difference.

I would say if/when you change out the other speakers. Not sure it's worth all of the work unless it's easier to get to the speakers than my JK.
