Proposed Sound System

I am looking to upgrade the sound system in my TJ. This will be the first one I put together and here is what I am thinking:

Headunit:
Alpine CDA-105
Alpine CDA-105 (cda105) All In-Dash Car Stereo Receivers Car Stereo Receivers and Head Units Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix
I like the 3 outputs and rear USB

Amp:
Kicker 08ZX700.5
Kicker 08ZX700.5 (08zx7005) 5-Channel or more Amps Car Amplifiers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix
I like the 5-channel and output power. I am thinking of putting the amp underneath my rear seat or bolt it to the bottom so when I flip the seat up it is out of the way.

Front Speakers:
5.25" Alpine SPR-13C
Alpine SPR-13C (spr13c) 5-1/4" Speakers Car Speakers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix
I'll use these to replace the 4x6 in the dash

Rear Speakers:
Alpine SPR-17C
Alpine SPR-17C (spr17c) 6-1/2" Speakers Car Speakers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix
These will go in the soundbar

Sub:
Kicker CompVT 08CVT84
Kicker CompVT 08CVT84 8" Subwoofers Car Subwoofers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix
I'm hoping to put this in the factory center console without too much modification (why I chose the shallow mount)

Again, this is my first system and I have tried to do my homework. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

You're going to have to do some serious custom fab work probably to get that sub in the center console...the factory subs are 6.5".

My knowledge on car audio is limited, but aside from that, it seems like it'll be a pretty nice setup.

I would caution you about putting an 8" sub in the center console. I did it with alot of fab work and it sounded like crap! I ended up building a custom box for behind the rear seat for one 10' Memphis sub and a Kicker 300 watt mono amp. It sounds awesome now.

Don't forget the Alpine HU has the brightest damn blue lights at night. Annoying as all get out.

Take a look at this sony marine unit. Its got every feature you want pus the durability of a marine edition. For a head unit you can get it for 160.00 shipped to your door

i agree with above posts. i would look into makin a custom box for behind your back seat, i think you will be more satisfied in the end. if you decide to build a custom box instead, a little thinking, and you can fit a larger sub.
