Exclamation Quick question about a sub!

Hey guys,

I'm looking at the Rockford Fosgate shallow 10 inch P3S. Can this fit behind the back seat you think? I think it should be able to fit but I was wondering if anyone has one of these or a 10 inch shallow box like it.

Thanks!

I want it to fit behind the seat and amp underneath the seat. I've been told it should fit but I figured I should check with the forum!

Also, I'd power it with this amp:

Pioneer Car GM7300M Mono Power Amplifier

Could it all work?

I'm not into subs, but from a quick search on the product specs, the box dimensions are 22.1 x 8.6 x 17.7 inches. So it ought to fit.

you can install the amp under the rear seat. i got three under mine. i built a custom box and hold 2 twelves. hence i have no room behind the rear seat, but she sure does sound great.

Will the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1 8-Inch fit in the center console if I wanted to replace the factory one?

that should work fine for a jeep. i not a fan of the shallow subs but if you need all the space you can get than that sub should be fine. and the amp will work fine.

i have a kicker L5 10 inch solobarric in its own fartory truck box.. it fits great, looks cool, and sounds pretty good too. i was sceptical on a squre sub but its impressed me..especially with the hard top on it thumps pretty good.. plus there is still some room in the back. as for the amps i fit 2 under the back seat with no problem at all.

Another question on this sub, I have the stock head unit. As I understand, it doesn't have the outlets to support a sub. What adapter/adapters would I need?

amps come with a wire harness that you splice into the rear speaker wires and the amp will only send the low notes to the sub and send the rest to the speakers.

Oh so I won't need an adapter? I forget where I saw it on here but it was a link to one on Crutchfield.

Thanks!
