quieting the jeep - bed liner or carpet liner?

I know most of the noise comes from the soft top, but I have my share of road noise. I'm going to need to replace my carpet soon and am wondering... bed liner under the carpet, or this:

Standard Poly Backed Carpet and Mass Backed Carpet--www.Auto-Interior.com--800-780-2974

Anyone had both that could share thoughts?

The first thing I would do if you haven't is rhinoline. Done correctly it looks fantastic. That will add a small bit of protection as well as some sound deadening for you. That mass backed carpet will also help with road noise. Unless you have a hard top, you will still have one of the noisest vehicles on the road. I've got a BesTop Trektop NX black diamond and it's much better noise wise over stock, but still noisy after hitting 60mph.
