Radio fm not working

I had to take my aftermarket radio our the other day. It had a section with a cluster or wires. Pulled it. Then what I believe was the antenna to the radio came undone. After I painted the dash I put it back together and the fm/ am wouldn't work. The aux works but not the radio. What should I do?

are you saying that something inside the unit got pulled out of place when you removed the unit?

On mine the antenna cable has a connection behind the glovebox that can come loose if you pull on the cable hard enough.

Yes, check what Cameljoe said. That is the most common cause of radio loss in TJ's. If you did actually damage the end, your best bet would be to go to Best Buy or a local car audio shop and purchase an antenna extension, two feet will be plenty long. Take your glovebox out and look for the antenna junction; the antenna wire is a thick black cable, usually wrapped in foam tape. Remove the end that goes to your radio, and replace it with the extension you bought.
