radio/ speakers/ sound bar

I am trying to put in new 4x6s in the dash of my 93 wrangler. the previous owner had nothing in the dash. i am wondering where the wires from the radio end under the dash? is there a plug at the end? do i have to splice or rig something up?

i am not sure of what i am working with or what it used to look like under the dash.

what about the sound bar? i heard there is a connector under the passengers side of the dash, that connects to the sound bar. Does that only go to the sound bar or should i use it to connect to the front speakers?

Replacing the 4x6's in a YJ dash is impossible with man sized hands!

doing the windsheild down/ dash removal... not too bad.

i'm not sure how the wires all go. like i said i have a plug tucked under the passenger side of the dash. i figured it was a direct plug for a sound bar. just trying to figure it all out.

lol its not that bad...then again i do like audio in 50 cars a day.. alright so what your gonna want to do is if your replaceing the speakers in the front is yes there should be small plugs where the speakers should be if there are not you may have to run new speaker wire to each speaker not to hard you just gotta know the color code to what set or wires go to which speaker the order is white-white/black are front driver side gray-gray/black are front passenger green-green/black are rear driver and purple-purple/black are rear passenger if you need to run new speaker wire to each speaker the best way to do it is extend thouse wires and run them directly to the speakers conecting the solid color to the + side and the stripe color to the - not that hard takes maybe 2 or 3 hours if you take your time and hide the wires well hope this helps if you have any questions on hooking anything up audio wise pm me like i said i do this shit for a living so if you need some help let me know

i think that my 93 may not have had speakers in the dash OR the plugs were trashed by the previous owner.

thanks for the advice. i will splice it together and make it work, saving that square (pin) plug for the sound bar in the future.

Man I could use your help...I want to eliminate the 4x6's in the dash by mounting 6" Kicker three-ways in the door panels. Gotta figure out a "quick-connect" for door removal...sorry for the hijack jeep-a-leep!
