Remote start system error

I have a 2011 wrangler and bought is in July.
I had tried the remote start the first week and she shut down after 2 seconds. I thought it might have been a timer if you had just driven it and was still warm.
Didn't give it a second thought until last night.
Tried it again because winter is here and it shut down after 2 seconds again. No codes are stored.

The dash says "Remote start disabled, system error".

Any ideas?
I still need to take her in for the first dealer oil change and have warrantee items looked at. It's been a champ since I got it with no problems worth mentioning.

It's part of the Vehicle alarm system. Either your Transponder key isn't working or the pick up in your steering wheel isn't working. Take it in immediately so you don't end up getting stuck somewhere.

Thanks, will make the trip into the shop. I just hate being without for a day or two. Just have to do it before the first decent snow.

The remote lock, alarm does work, as does the start. It just shuts off after 2 seconds.
:-(

Are you holding the remote start button too long? I know on mine, you hit the button twice and let go. If you hit the button after that or hold it down too long, it shuts the jeep off.
