Replaced my rear over head speakers

I bought middle of the road 6.5, 3 ways for the back of my 2006 wrangler.

they did "fit" but there is some space between the pod and the speaker which causes some sound loss and not as good of a quality of sound.

any advice to fill that space? double sided foam tape? polyfill?

advice please!

do both polyfill for better sound and bass and the foam tape to fill the gap(s)

Your 6.5s didn't come with adapter brackets?
