I don't like to admit it, but I'm new to everything Jeep. I have a TJ which comes stock with a CD player, but as you all probably know better than me, CDs and bumps, rocks, and dust don't mix. Is there any way I can put my collection of cassette tapes to good use out there or do I have to settle for an expensive new system with an auxiliary cable?

wow i havent used tapes in maybe 10-15 years? new school is cheaper than u think..
heres a way to convert your tapes
cassette-to-mp3 | eBay

Then pretty much any new deck will play them (get one with usb)
Kenwood KDC348U In-Dash CD Receiver USB Input , USB, Sat#
and rock away
no moving parts...except cd if u go that route
