I have the antenna running through the roll bars (under the zippered cover). The actual magnet piece is sitting right in the middle of the bar in between the speakers. I have the actual unit mounted above the inside rearview mirror.
When you say under the zippered cover LeoF, do you mean the rollbar cover?[/QUOTE]
Yes, mine is mounted exactly as Texapple's (I mean Kat) . I unzipped the roll bar covers till I got to the center bar that holds the speakers (on my 03). You could also place it on the bar above the door. They even sell these things to hold the antenna on the outside of the cover, like it better on the inside without this part so you don't see any cables: http://www.quadratec.com/products/96080_300.htm
Nice install Kat, I've got my Pioneer AirWare in the same spot with the micro-antenna under the roll bar cover. I love the fact that its up out of the way and I don't take mine out cause most people don't look up when they want to steal something.

So does anyone have a Satellite Radio hooked up?Where did you put the antenna?
I was scrolling and came across the satelite radio antenna question. Mounting on hood results in heavy scratches and also interference from the windshield which is pependicular to the hood and causes interference if you are traveling any direction other than south. The solution is to mount it on the roll bar . Essentials Jepp Catalogue actually sells a mounting pouch. It works with boh hard top and soft top. Signal travels thru fiberglass hardtop.
