Some questions about my CB

My GF's dad got a new Volvo semi and sold his frieghtliner. His Volvo came with a CB installed and so he gave me his frieghtliners Uniden PC68XL. Does anyone have any experience with this CB Radio? I looked at the Uniden website for info about it but I'm a total n00b when it comes to CBs. I know how to mount the radio in the wrangler, and hard wire it to the battery. Anyone know what the ideal antenna would be for this radio when it comes to quality/price also it needs to be able to fit into my garage. Also what length coax should i get two run from the antenna to the radio? Im going for the cleanest and most hidden install i can.

You could try under the seat, As far as coax I've been told you can use most any lenght mine is aprox 15' and I have 1:2 on all channels with a firestick. I just picked up a new antenna a 4' Man I already for got the name Scoob recomended it but it sticks up just over my top with a taillight mount. Rightnow I use a Quick disconect for antenna and radio is installed overhead in a Cb rack which I love it's not hidden but very functional.
Your radio is a smaller Chassis than what I have so you can use different mounting locations.

The antenna is Everhardt Super Tiger 4' The club I run with you have to be under a certain lenth so 5' was too long.

I hope some of my rambling helped.

yep I appreciate all the input thanks! i was thinking of a 4' 5' firestik mounted some were behind the spare tire. for clean and hidden i was reffering to not wanting the coax visible running to the front of the TJ like running it under the carpet. I was planning on mounting the CB under the dash on either the driver or passenger side next to the console. with driver side I was worried about getting in the way. Since I'm 6'3" 200lbs I dont want my legs hitting up against it. On the passenger side I was consernd about not being able to easily reach it to adjust it being so far away and the shifter being between me and radio specially in 5th gear on the highway.
