sound options for a YJ

I have a 1990 Wrangler with sports bars. Currently I only have the 2 in-dash speakers and am looking to add a little more. I'm using a cheap head unit because I run with a bikini top 300+ days a year and it will either be stolen or damaged within a few years anyways.

Here's the head unit i use:
Dual XC4100 Cassette player at Crutchfield.com

I'd like to add more speakers primarily for volume and to make it easier to hear when on the road. There are a lot of options out there, and I'm hoping some of you have some experience with some of these or could offer some suggestions.

The options I'm looking at:
Select Increments 91970S - Select Increments Centra-Pod with Speakers for 76-95 Jeep® CJ-5, CJ-7, CJ-8 Scrambler & Wrangler YJ - Quadratec

Vertically Driven Products 53301 - VDP Supreme Sound Wedges with 6" Speakers for 80-95 Jeep CJ & Wrangler YJ - Quadratec
(These worry me because of they're positioning. Like I said, I use a bikini top a lot and dont want them to be ruined by rain.)

Select Increments 53179S - Select Increments Sky-Pod with Speakers for 55-06 Jeep® CJ-5, CJ-7, CJ-8 Scrambler & Wrangler YJ, TJ, Unlimited - Quadratec
(With these, I'm not sure how much of my view they would block or how I could run the wires down to the head unit, any suggestions welcome.)

Of course, the ideal solution would be a sound bar, but I have Bestop Trailmax 2 seats and with my height (6'3") there wouldnt be much room about my head. I'd be smacking my head on it a lot.

The other thing I've considered is these:
Overhead Sound Wedge Supreme w/dome Light 4 Speakers Black VDP-794001
I'm wondering if those will attach to the sports bar and main hoop at a downward angle. Any idea if that will work?

I'm also open to other suggestions. Any help would be great.

all of those a good, but the speakers in them are junk, so if you can get a set of pods without the speakers that would be the best option.
