OK so far as I know I have the factory soundbar. I replaced the soundbar speakers with some kenwoods just after I got the jeep. Now I'm ready to change out the dash speakers. I got a set of adapter plates to put 5.25s in the dash. So dustbin wondering is if I move the 5.25s to the dash what to put in the sound bar. I read that alot of people squeeze in 6.5s and I mado that. However I already have a set of good quality 6x9s from a previous vehicle. Has anyone tried to put 6x9s in a factory sound bar? How much of a pain in the @$$ was it? I know ill have to do some cutting, so what's your opinions?
Sell the 6x9's and use that money for a set of 6.5's for the soundbar. You can also put a set of components in the soundbar. I have a set of infinity kappa perfect components in the soundbar. Easy to install tweeters into a soundbar but 6x9's are gonna be a pain to do
Dear Algebra, Please stop asking us to find your X. She's never coming back and don't ask Y.
you can find some component speakers for the front that have separate tweeters that mount to the dash. This will at least bring the sound stage up to your ears, as opposed to your knees (unless you are a grasshopper, this doesnt sound the best).
