Speaker Installation - Tweeter and crossover

Ok I bought the Alpine SPS-600c for the front. I had no problem installing the woofer. but I have yet to install the tweeters.

I have two questions

1. with the crossover that came with the speakers, do I need to use them? or if I end up splicing into the original tweeter wiring, is the crossover in the standard system good enough?

2. whats the best way to install the tweeter into the housing? has anyone done this them self?
