Speakers for 90 wrangler

I have two speakers on the dash. Each 4" I think but I also want to put a sub. What brand would be best to put inside the dash and how can I secure my sub down where it won't get stolen (my top is down a lot) I have a sub but it has a trailer light plug in

Speakers are subjective to the individual. A quick read in this forum will show you that 5.5" speakers can be put in your dash.
Anything in and on a Jeep can be stolen. Found it cheaper to leave the doors unlocked than adding to that damage as well, when the soft top is on. You just need to hide it or not make it worth there while. i.e. out of sight out of mind.
For the sub...In the rear seat, in a locked remade center console of some sort or build a box and bolt the thing down.

Why does your sub have a trailer light plug in???

No clue! My friend gave it to me with a built in amp so I took it. Figured why not. I thought about bolting it down behind my seats but not enough room and I'm still afraid for it to get wet if it rains. I'm pretty new to this whole electronics/speakers thing. But you're positive a 5" speaker will fit in my dash??

OK, I was just trying to figure out what it would connect to. I was thinking it was a home made disconnect. A plugs a plug in the end. Yes 5.25 or 5.5 inch speakers will fit. Do a search for "TJ dash speaker install"or something along those lines and you'll get info overlaod. I've had Polk DB's and now going to try Alpines. They have been waiting patiently for me to find some free time. You do need to fashion or purchase a bracket (just a metal plate to hold them). I made one using a drill and tinsnips, but recently ponyed up for some cnc cut pieces to do it right. There are a few companies / people selling them, I'm very happy with what I bought. I got tweeter mounts that attach to the door straps as well. If you can use a dremel and a screw driver, you can do this easily. Thought about infinity, but liked the sound of the alpines better. Could of been happy with either. some people go with marine grade speakers.
Where you put your amp is the fun part really.
