SPOD, air compressor, and pressure switch
My VIAIR 400C blew it's 30A fuse in the SPOD yesterday. After talking w/ VIAIR it turns out their manuals online are out of date and that the 400C has a max draw of 32A. My dilemma now is that the SPOD is only rated up to 30A so putting a 40A in it is not a good idea.
After some reading, I starting looking at pressure switches and had a new idea.....
What if I wired the compressor to the battery with a 40A in-line fuse, and then wired up a pressure switch to the SPOD? Is this a valid solution?
