Do you have a CD Changer Input in the back of your stereo? Or do you have CD Changer control option on your stereo? I believe that is the only do-it-yourself way of adding an auxiliary input (see below link).
If not I would shoot up to your local stereo shop and ask if they could do it and HOW they would do it (just so you know their not gonna be ripping your stereo apart or off hand rigging it), but I would expect it to not be too cheap if a shop had to do it...just my opinion.
ps - my experience with FM transmitters....BAD. If your not hellbent on staying stock I would get another stereo before I used a transmitter. JMPO
