Stereo HELP!!!!!!!

OK so a few weeks ago I installed a set of Sony Xplode 5.25's in the sound pods. I cut and spliced the wires instead of using the factory speaker harness plug thingies. Everything works fine. I got the matching Xplode 4x6's for the front for Xmas. I went to circuit city today and got the factory speaker plug harness thingies for the front (figured I'd do it the right way). I got home and pulled out the factory speakers and unplugged them. Then I noticed that the speaker plug thingies from Circuit City won't fit, what's the deal with that?? The package says they'll fit wranglers from 97-06 mine is an 05. Then I find that the Sony 4x6's won't fit, the mounting screw holes are nowhere close. Why??? Is there a speaker mounting adapter I need to buy?? OR... Should I just take it all back and order from Crutchfield????

OK so I see that crutchfield offers a filler plate to mount them to. But why do the plug things not work??

And they have the right plug things. Crutchfield is awesome. I ordered the stuff from them. I'll pay a visit to the homeboy at circuit city tomorrow.

Yes youll need to run four new speaker wires you could use the thin cheap stuff but your better off with the heavy stuff.

looks good, now all you need is a sub to match the speakers.

My setup:

5.25" round MBQuarts in the dash
6x9" Kickers in the sound bar
8" Kicker sub in Tuffy console (while wheeling)
12" Alpine sub in back (while not wheeling - takes too much space)
4 channel Kicker amp for front/rear
1 channel amp for sub

Also equipped with XM, iPod connected to Alpine HU.

You could do like me and realize the speakers don't fit in the dash, and just use 1 of the holes, and some tape to hold them in place Oh, and where do i get that moving pic of the jeep chick in your signature?
