Stereo Install Kit

This is probably a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway so I don't end up doing something stupid and ordering the wrong part

Which of these stereo mounting kits is the one I need?
Metra Electronics - Dealer Parts Warehouse
Metra Electronics - Dealer Parts Warehouse
Metra Electronics - Dealer Parts Warehouse

Apparently they will all work in my 03 TJ, but it appears that they all mount the stereo a little differently (from front, from back, with or without additional brackets, etc) so I'm not really sure which is the best one to use for a standard single DIN stereo.

Well first off what size is the head unit? Single DIN or Double DIN? Or go here SONY® CDX-GT130, CDX-GT330, CDX-GT430IP, CDX-GT640UI in dash CD stereo receiver for Jeep Vehicles - Quadratec and see the easiest way to do it.....all plug and play stuff, including the mounting kits.

Probably any of them will fit. I got the one with the pocket underneath (your second and third options). It fits a CD case or my iPod. Usually with these kits you end up throwing away a bunch of pieces that don't go to your vehicle.

What's wrong with Sony head units??? I LOVE mine... I've had quite a few in different vehicles throughout the years and have had nothing but good luck.

I'd buy another in a second!!!!!!! Still not sure why Sony has such a bad rap.

OH and for the record, I got my dash kit, antenna adapter and harness from Bestbuy. Roughly $55 for all
