I have a friend that replace his stock JK stereo witht the upgraded NAV stereo. He is willing to give me the stereo. Does anyone know if the 08 JK stereo would fit an 03 TJ?

I think the unit is physically bugger but since he has it and would
let you have it why not just take your stocker out and try to
put the jk one in? If it fits great, I don't think you will see
any improvement with it tho.

There is a big improvement.
The JK radio can play MP3 CDs and DVDs.

i was thinking more of a sound quality improvement but you are correct with the mp3 cd.

I guess it makes sense just to try. I was thinking the exact same thing with the MP3 and the aux jack for my IPOD.
