Stock radio bluetooth?

I'm selling my stock 130 radio. My Jeep did come with Uconnect and bluetooth package.

Someone is asking me:

my 2012 came with the 130 kit, without bluetooth. will this plug in to that harness and will the bluetooth work?
Would he just need a microphone to get it working?

No. There is a separate module needed for the BT.

What did you upgrade to? Another Chrysler radio or aftermarket. Depending on what the new radio is: EX-
If you upgraded to a 730N or an aftermarket radio, then the original Uconnect module would not be in use anymore. So you could remove the Uconnect module (which is mounted behind the HVAC control head) and sell both pieces to him. He would then need the inter connecting cable and a mic. (this could all add up to some $). If you changed out to a 435N radio, then your Uconnect module will still be used.
If you just want to be a good jeeper, you could let him know that Chrysler should have the new Uconnect kit in the parts dept for the 2012 vehicles with the RES radio that has no UC buttons on it. Probably another month, estimated cost is $350 - $400.

.

Aftermarket.

I had a complete system with Kenwood NAV in my last vehicle. I drove straight from the dealer to the stereo shop to have everything transferred.

I'm really not up to taking apart the dash to retrieve this stuff though. I guess I could possibly have a stereo shop do it.

So where is the HVAC if I want to fish out the uconnect and mic? Looks like the mic is in the panel above the drivers door in the corner?

I'm not the type to try to fish these things out myself, but sounds like it might be worth it to pay a stereo shop $50 or something to pull them out? Is the

Uconnect mounted on something behind the dash?

The HVAC, (Heating, ventilation & Air conditioning) is the control head for the climate controls just below the radio. As for the mic, I wouldn't go that far because there isn't a stock replacement harness for it. If there was, it probably would be as the MOPAR mic kit that they sell at the parts dept.

The main harness that he would need would be PN 68002648AA,
and the MIC kit would be PN 68002646AA.
Now what you would want to do before removing your parts would be to compare the price that you would sell your module for, then call the parts dept to get the price for these 2 parts listed above. Then compare those prices to the price of the Uconnect MOPAR kit (PN 82212159). This kit can also be found on line sometimes for less than the dealer cost.
*****Additional note*****
If the other person want to have IPod capability for either setup (yours or the MOPAR kit), they will also need the optional IPod / USB cable PN 82212160.
After you get these prices, let me know what they are and I will see if I can help further. OK

I responded to your ad but it has not posted yet. Would this work with a 2007 unlimited? It would also need to work with unconnect 82212159 USB 82212160 and have Sirius ability? I need it to replace my stock RES which seems will not work with those 2 connect pieces.

Not exactly sure what it will work with, read above, thx for posting info!

On the road so posting from phone. Going to a forum meet up tomorrow so won't be home until Sunday.

If you wanted to try it, I would take it back if you can't use it as long as you pay for shipping.

It seems it would work since the uconnect 82212159 is for 2007-2012 wranglers. The uconnect plugs into the radio so it seems it should be the same wiring setup. Your RES does have Sirius ability correct?
