I ran mine on the drivers side jsut above where the foot rest should be. There is a little gromitt there and I just put a little hole and some grease on the power wire and pulled it through. You may need another set of hands to do this if you make the hole pretty small (I made it smaller so it would be tighter and less prone to leaking). My jeep came with a failry weak alternator so I just got a 1.2 farad tsunami cap. It is $99 at crutchfield but print it out from their site and go to circuit city and they will price match it and save you the money for shipping and you wont have to wait. I have a system close to yours except I have a kicker twelve and I am only pushing about 700 watts but my lights dim like crazy which will put extra and unneeded strain on the alternator and battery.
