Subwoofer Placement

Ok i have been doing plenty of searching and cant seem to come across anything with a custom sub enclosure under the rear seats of a 4dr unlimited. I figured you could build 2 custom boxes and put 2 8's then the amp and wiring in the middle of them. I figured under the seat would be a little more secure from thieves when i have the top off. Does anyone else have any experience with that placement and maybe best box specs or sub size? I do like this setup
SubWoofer (Custom Enclosure with JL Sub)
but i dont know if i would be able to build it and also it seems like it would get taken pretty quickly with top off. Thanks a ton!

. I experimented with a couple slim 10s under my rear seats before I molded some custom fiberglass boxes for the fronts. The back seats were fine but I lost some bass when the top came off and I was driving. Also I couldn't fold the back seat down. These solved the problem.

Nevermind i just realized that when you fold the seats down they sit flush with floor so it would interfere with cargo space. So it looks like the link i posted will be the route i take

That looks amazing. I want to run 2 8's or 2 10's. The thing is i have a RHD jeep and passenger seat is almost always out for my mail tray. So once again i am limited to putting them in the back.

Those are exactly what I'm looking for. Did you make them or buy them?

. I make them from molded fiberglass for JKs. .4 - .5 cu ft each depending on what woofer you would want to use. They will fit 2 door or 4 door.
