Tablet mounting and integration

Backstory:

Finally got a Go Pro with wifi so we can record our adventures and miss adventures.

Issue:

Controlling this thing via a Droid Rzr is nice but there are two things that make this mundane task frustrating, fat fingers (cannot ever hit the right area on the phone for the function I want) and, small screen. Laugh now all you young people as this is your future, grandpa glasses.

Potential Solution:

Utilize a Samsung Note 10.1 for control. Larger screen for viewing and larger button area to see and press.

Now why I came to the collective... someone out there has got to have a creative solution for mounting one of these in a jeep so it can be used yet is out of the way. So please show us your set ups and tell us a bit about the set up.

TIA

I do not have these yet, but am considering some products from http://www.carolinametalmasters.com and rammount.com. CMM makes the totally awesome cnc passenger grab bar with built in ram ball, an a pillar mount (not to mention their brass knuckle grab bars!) and the you could use any ram accessory. Ram also makes some cool gopro mounts.

Been looking over the RAM mounting solutions and zeroing on a few of their options. Am wondering if the suction cup with the 9 inch extension with the X-grip will be enough while off roading?

Thanks to some input from another thread and a personal recommendation we went with Carolina Metal Master's. Excellent customer service and rapid response. Product fit and finish are second to none. Instructions clear and concise. Install time was about 10 minutes and this includes collecting and putting away the tools.

After trying to control my go pro with my iphone a few times, I decided to just get a remote.
