Thinking about getting an add a trunk how will it effect the factory subs

I am thinking about getting an add a truck to the 2012 Sport I just ordered but am unsure how it will effect the sound quality of the sub woofers in the rear. Will having them cover make them sound muffeled or distorted? Any audio techs have any ideas or experience with this? SHould I do this or not?

I don't think covering a sub will necessarily make it sound "muffled". You might lose some raw volume, but not necessarily any audio quality. It's not impossible that it could improve depending on how well the OEM system was engineered, but I wouldn't count on that. It's one of those things you will likely have to try

its not going to be as loud, its hard to know if it will cause it to sound different but the only way to find out is to install it.
