Top Down+Rain=No sound

Well.... Left my top down like an idiot last night and it rained. I just installed a new alpine cd player last week too. (figures) Anyway, this morning I get in and the face plate is lit up but no sound. Checked the fuse and it's fine. My stock radio is in the trash so I cant see if thats the problem. Pulled the unit out, checked all wiring. Im lost right now......

If you have a gas stove, leave it in the oven overnight. The pilot light will dry it out.

When electronics get wet pour Isopropal Alcohol on it. If water is causing the trouble that will absorb and evaporate it.

And keep your eye on the weather next time.

open up the case, if you aren't getting air flow through it it won't dry out.

or go to q-tec, and order a bestop trail cover, kinda pricey, but goes on quick and fits well.

I have had that problem before. I Let the first one dry out and it worked fine. The second one I tookl back and they replaced it with a new one. I just told them it didn't work. They didn't ask what happened.
