Uconnect Kit for 2007 JK Sahara

Has anyone installed the Uconnect kit in a 2007 JK. Just looking for some info as to how it worked out. My son has a factory Uconnect in his 2012 JKU and it seems great, However, just wondering how the newer cell phones will be adapted to the older radios or if that is a problem at all ? Thanks.

To be honest with you, the 2007 radio will be your issue. The HW in the radio will limit your features. It doesn't support phone book download or BT streaming audio. With todays phones having so many features and the vehicle being a 2007, you'd be better off purchasing a nice aftermarket radio with built in BT.
