under seat cb mounting

I searched and searched but couldnt find much regarding this subject. So, has anyone mounted their CB (or even something of similar size) under the driver or passenger seats? Im wanting to mount my Cobra under my driver seat just looking for ideas of how and exactly where to mount it under there. If you have any experience with this please share, heck I'll even listen to mounting ideas from people who havent done it either.

So far my "best idea" is to buy a piece of aluminum strap and bend it to the shape of the tuffy under seat consoles. Anchoring them under the seat mounts and arching up to allow clearance between the CB and floor.

I did this a year ago and it works just fine. I rarely use my cb so this is a great "out of the way" install.
The difference is that I faced my radio forward. I can reach down and adjust volume squelch etc. Mine resets to channel 1 when I shut it off, so I need to set the channel before driving. I keep a small mirror in my console in the event I need to change channel when off road. This keeps me from stopping and getting out. I don't do this when driving down the road.
I also have it set up to a cig lighter power source. I keep that tucked away under the seat until needed.

Back to install:
I just used the mounting bracket that the radio came with and used radiator hose clamps to secure it to the bottom part of the seat. I added a little bit of an old inner tube between the bracket and seat.
It works like a charm, and you can't tell that it is there.
