Upgraded the home theater system a bit...

Well my 1989 rear projection TV finally took a dump on me so I decided it was time to upgrade...

I already had some damn fine speakers...

Quintet III--- Bookshelf Home Theater Speaker, Home Theater System

...a hugely over powering sub that I can't even turn all the way up...

Synergy Sub-12 --- Klipsch Synergy Series

...so I added this to eventually be able to go 7.1...

RX-V663

...and this to look at all the purdy colors...

Insignia - 47" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV - NS-LCD47HD-09

I'm going to eventually add a pair of these to round out the 7.1

F-1 --- Floorstanding Stereo Speaker - Klipsch Synergy Series

Not top of the line by any means but a HUGE step up for me!

Time to nerd out to a Star Wars marathon!!!

Klipsh makes damn fine products. I have some 2.1 speakers for my PC and can't turn them up past half.

Did you already plop down for that insignia TV? Are you using it for actual TV or just movies and games?

I don't think so. I have a 1989 rear projection TV thats HUGE and still works at my house. Sometime in the early 90s they disassembled it and took it to the basement. Everyone is too lazy to disassemble it and move it back up because its stupid huge and heavy, so it just sits down there looking dumb.

Yea... I'm a pretty big fan of Klipsch.

As far as the TV goes I'm using it for all of the above. I really dig it so far...
