VDP Soundbar speaker replacement

I got from this forum that a 6.5 will fit into the VDP Soundbar. What I want to know is could I mount 2 6.5 subwoofers into the slots. Would they fit and if so, what are your thoughts? I know that kicker makes the 6.5 CVT series. My main concern would be the depth.

I'm not sure what the depth is.. Pull the speakers out and measure..

As for the subwoofers, make sure you amp them and use appropriate crossover.
