VHF/UHF Antenna Fender Bracket

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good antenna fender bracket that elevates the coil above the hood?

I had bought a flat Firestik bracket, but it put the coil right by the hood and my SWR was 3:1.

I have lightbar brackets that have mount points for lights down low and I moved the antenna there and got my SWR down to 1.5:1. I'm not crazy about the location and I feel like I can still get better SWR by getting it out away from the windshield.

(Larsen 2/70 NMO antenna, but I've been drilling out my brackets to 3/4" so the NMO connector fits in them.)

This is the one that I have mounted for my tri-band amateur radio putting it on the passenger's side. I'm waiting on my tire carrier to arrive and that will mount the CB antenna keeping the two antennas pretty distant from each other. The CB radio is better off transmitting into the "messy" tire carrier area with it's big 11 meter wavelength and the 2M/1.25M/70CM is best on the flat hood area.

I've used the Diamond on my other SUV's hatch to great success. They're really pretty strong and will take a beating. They do have their limits but I've run with the largest dual band antennas made and the mount has been good ~9 years now. I do re-tighten the allen screws every few years.

An SWR that high is something odd as I've mounted antennas close to the body with base mounted coils without that high of an SWR.
