Viper Alarm / Remote Start with CAN Interface

I recently installed a Viper 5204V Alarm / Remote Starter with an OmegaLink OL-MDB-ALL CAN Interface in my 07 JK. These components are wired in data-to-data mode.

I never considered a remote starter until my last vehicle came with one already installed. Now, I can't live without one. Also, the proximity and shock alarms help me sleep a little better since I have an expensive stereo system. I wanted to post this information for others out there trying to install a similar set-up, because although there seems to be alot of information out there, I couldn't find a reliable write up for a data-to-data installation.

Ok, so Omegalink provides a nice diagram. However, this diagram does not represent the necessary wires from the viper alarm to the vehicle. So, I simply took their diagram and modified it. I hope this information will help save someone some time.

Notes:
The OmegaLink is identical to Idatalink, just rebadged.
The image text is pretty small. If you can't read it save it and then open in an image viewer/editor to zoom.
I'll do my best to answer any questions about the installation process.

I have a 2012 jk trying to install the viper 5806v. I have the dball2 hooked up and flashed for my jeep and viper. The jeep will start with 3xlock = start, whit the factory remote. I have the d2d cable hooked to the viper. I have the 12v, ground, siren, hood pin hooked up. Viper remote locks & unlocks fine just will not start. I figured the d2d was all I need, guess not. Any suggestions?
Thank you

[QUOTE="Cash_097;14057666"] I have a 2012 jk trying to install the viper 5806v. Thanks
I figured it out. 👍👌👏
Lights flash 7 times after hitting the remote start.
It was not recognizing that I had the door open or ignition. Once I hooked up the ignition output (heavy pink)) and found the yellow white door trigger it worked fine. I used the dball2 on mine. D2d I still hooked up the tach wire. I did not have to use the diode on my 2012 2 door but I did have program it for automatic mode. (Tricky)
Thank you for the print. 👍
