The cb will come with the power and ground wires. It may be wired to a cig lighter plug- cut that off and wire directly to the battery for clean power.

You will need to get coax for the antenna and figure out how you'll want to mount the antenna. After all hooked up check it with an SWR meter to properly tune the antenna and you're good to go.

Just my honest opinion?? SCREW RADIO SHACK!

Go to walcottcb.com

They specialize in CBs and have great customer service. I will lay out what I run on all my rigs.

Uniden 510xl

I run the 18 foot of Fire Flex coax
http://www.walcottcb.com/firestik-k4...tud-p-199.html

and I run this antenna and this antenna only.

Wilson Flex in the 4' flavor

http://www.walcottcb.com/wilson-flex...nas-p-542.html

I usually make my own mount but this one is pretty cool if you are after a bolt on deal.

Just need some 14 ga wire to plumb up the electricals and a SWR meter to tune down some Standing Wave Ratio and call it a day.

EDIT: Looks to me like they ditched the stud that used to come with the coax wire. You will need one of these too

I have never run into any problems with that setup. The antenna is very flexible and works great for trail rides and trees. I've busted 2 other antennas before I found the flex. I get my SWR down to 1.2-1.5:1 and can transmit for a good couple miles. I once talked to a trucker over 8 miles away which I thought was impressive. It always performs.

I was talking about coax and connectors that you can get local. I wouldn't buy anything else from them.

Don't forget a SWR meter to tune your antenna.
