What speakers should I put up front? 2005 TJ

I am considering either the Polk db 461 plate 2 way speakers or the Polk db521 2 way speakers (already have adaptor) for the front of my 2005 TJ, any recomendation on those - will the 5.25's sound better than the plate speakers?

I am running an Alpine HU combined with the Alpint 45W x 4 powerpack and a pair of Polk DXI 650's in back. So the plates or the 5.25's up front?

One other question, will polyfil packing behind the speakers both in the pods on the roll bar and behind the dask speakers really improve the sound - I can see perhaps on the sound pods as those are enclosed spaces - but the dash is wide open, any suggestions here?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have an 03 Rubi and I bought the MTX 5.25 adapters and put DB521's up front. Man it is a HUGE difference.

As for the Poly Fil, I bought the DEI Boom Mat Speaker Baffles and there was not enough room. I probably could have made something to mount it to the back but after I installed the speakers, they sounded good enough without them.
I have the DB651's in the Pod as well btw.
