which sub is better? Kicker vs MTX

Thinking about buying a shallow sub.

Need to choose between this MTX:
MTX FPR12-02 Shallow-mount 12" 2-ohm subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

and this Kicker:
Kicker 40CWRT122 12" CompRT Car Subwoofer Car Subwoofers 40CWRT 122 subwoofer sub woofer in car auto speakers audio stereo dual pair shallow low flat mount depth inch cheap on sale power best single/dual voice-coil

Anyone have any pro/cons on these?

Which is better in an enclosed box (ported or sealed) or open air?

Thanks for the help!

I know this isn't what you asked but this shallow sub will smoke both that you are choosing from. A few bucks more than one and a few bucks cheaper than the other. I'm running two of them below my front seats and they sound great and handle tons of power. It will work in a box as small as .5 cu ft sealed or 1 cu ft ported..

Sundown makes quality stuff, you can also look at some of the ssa subs and incriminator audio subs. Here is a link to the ssa store where you can find some great equipment that sell sundown and a bunch of other subs that compair to the sundown. . http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/
