I noticed that my jeep was wasting a lot more gas than usual and it was getting very loud and they it was missing a bolt on the manifold could that be the couse of it wasting so much gas I'm only getting 195 miles a full tank on a 92 jeep wrangler 4cly thanks.
If it is a newer vehicle it will compensate by using more fuel. Basically with an intake manifold leak you will run lean. The sensors will tell the ecm to use more fuel to richen the flow.
i think he's talking about the exh manafold .. and yes it will cause these issues, if i where you i would go buy a manifold gasket (45$) and call the factory for a bolt (7$) and replace both on that side..
you can also try using a fuel treatment kit and see if this helps clean some things out and get you a little better milage..
when was the last time you changed your plugs and wires ?
