Doing my first shakedown ride Saturday

I'm going to trip it down the Apache trail to Roosevelt Lake then come back over the 4 peaks. I think that should be an easy ride but maybe long if anyone's up for that. Last time I was at the top of 4 pks it was late April and snowing. Was fun. I know there's others going out to the ovens maybe but I want to wait till I get new tires to do that one. Just throwing this out there for whoever...

Didn't go-thought it better to get new rubber first. So Thursday for the rubber, Saturday a ride-come H or HW.

What kind of trail is it? Ive heard of it before. Is there anything challenging? Im not looking for just graded dirt roads myself. I like somthing with at least a little challenge

Depends on how far my buddy is going back. My boss is taking his rock crawler jeep out there.

Apache trail is easy, very car friendly. It's the FR 143 over the 4 pks is where I want to go. Will see what else is doing too for the WE too.
