Well, I too grew up in Payson (seems to be a trend here), live in Scottsdale. Wife's DD is the 2013 JKUR Billet, My shop dust collector is a 75 CJ-5 that i use to desert race and is /may be transformed into a good crawler.

I just moved to Spring Valley, AZ (about 2 miles west of the I-17/69 interchange) six months ago from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina (temporary stop), and Kaohsiung, Taiwan before that (slightly less temporary).

Just moved to Chandler Arizona from Chicago.

2012 Wrangler Sport 6 speed manual, just a few minor mods. Sold the hardtop before I came down, now it has a soft top. No money for mods until I can find a better paying job out here.

Note: It never looks as clean as it does below, I did that on a cold winter day back home.

Hi everyone. I bought my first Jeep back in April and I've been working on it ever since. I live in North Phoenix near the 51&101 interchange. I have a 90 YJ and have spent quite a few afternoons out north of Lake Pleasant.

Here "Teddy" is out at one of the abandoned dams north of Pleasant.

It's a fun trail back to it and there is some very challenging trails out of that wash going west.

I spent much of my high school days (Red Mountain High in Mesa, class of 99) wheeling out at 4 peaks and Sycamore Creek.

PM me if you know of any local wheeling groups! I'm looking for one or three!

You have some sexy plans. Curious, though, why heims?

Well why not heims i ask in return? Lol my rigs only used on the trail except driving it on pavement 2 get 2 the trail. They're stronger then others when hitting them on rocks. They may develop some play but rarely will they come apart (quality heims). Don't have 2 worry about rebuilding em once im done with em just take em off and toss em away and get new ones. Also they're readily available so if i need 2 find 1 quickly it wont be a problem. Not a fan of tre's. They can go just as fast if a boot is torn and dirt starts making its way in. What about everybody else? What are u guys running on your steering and control arms? Any opinions?

I am surprised there are more Flagstaff folks on here. I see Jeeps all over Flagstaff but I guess no forum users? I really need some suggestions on good 4x4 shops in Flagstaff and was hoping some members could help me out.

Does the Phoenix area have a 4wheelparts? When I was in ABQ I had them do my re-gear on my Dakota and they did a good job and had really good prices on both the gears and install
