need mechaninc help

hey guys, recently joined the Jeep family here in Phoenix; got a red 95 a couple of months ago. Lately i have been having some issues with my clutch pedal, and shifting through gears. Anyone got a shop, tools, and experience want to help me isolate the problem and repair it?? I have experience working on cars but nothing with a clutch and I want the experience doing it with someone who knows what they are doing so that i can learn.

Or, does anyone know a mechanic that i could go to that would let me work on my jeep with him?

thanks for the help in advance.

What part of town you in? I suspect most shops have regulations thanks to the fine government that prevent you from "assisting". Why not post up looking for a wrenching party and maybe some forum folks would help out?

Wrenching party: you post up asking other Jeepers who know how to do it to come help you in someones garage. You provide pizza and beer and meet cool folks-and learn and get the work done. Folks do it often on AZVJC-google Arizona Virtual Jeep Club.

I am inN Snobsdale too lol by Kierland. Maybe Absolute Offroad somewhere on Rose Garden off I17. A bit more of a drive but I also like 4 Wheelers at 35th and Washington.
