I may go check this out. I live right around the corner from Airpark-that's where I bought my Jeep. What can be bad about free BBQ?

Boo-can't do the trail run part because it says you need skid plates and I don't have any yet. Maybe next year will have my son come out and we will do it together.

The trail run will be suitable for a stock wrangler.

Anyone from the east valley want to caravan there? I'm leaving at 6am from Apache Junction.

I think you will be fine without skid plates if you're not stock.

I am still totally stock.

That said, I got the email from them this morning. I will try to get my sister to go, but if not I think I will go up to the meetup to make a donation to the pets - and next year I am trying to get my son to come out and do it with me (mom and son Jeep bonding!). It sounds like a ton of fun! It is more than just an off road cruise - dogs, darts, wing eating, paint ball, jet ski and zip line!!!!!!

Welcome all Jeepers!!! Final preparations were made today for the 8th Annual Jeep Jamboree. It is truly amazing how a small idea 8 years ago has grown into this event. All thanks to each of you and your families.

First point of information—WE ARE NOT STARTING AT THE DEALERSHIP THIS YEAR!!! We will be starting at the I-17 and Carefree highway in the Kohl’s parking lot at 7:00 a.m.. Look for us there to sign your waivers, and obtain your map information and poker hand form. Don’t forget your non perishable food items for the food bank or your blankets, leashes, collars, bedding, or food for our 4 legged friends as your entrance fee. We have about 20 4 legged friends participating in the event this year. They always enjoy their jeep rides. Your adventure will last approximately 5 hours before your return to the dealership.

Your first poker hand challenge will take place at the starting point. So, get your dart throwing arms ready. Also pick up your snack bag at this time. We usually try to provide a muffin, trail mix, candy, etc to keep you occupied on your travels. Please bring something to drink with you.

You will travel west at that point, complete your off road trail adventure along with you 2nd challenge. You are going to be doing some paintballing.

Once the off-road portion is complete you will be heading to lake pleasant to take a jet ski ride—For you long timers, you will remember this from the first and second years. Hope the water isn’t too cold for you. Make sure you pack a towel, in case you get wet.

Once you start working your way back to the dealership, you will be visiting BT’s at the corner of Scottsdale Road and Thunderbird for a salsa and wing challenge. This will get you your 4th poker card.

And then, your return to the dealership where you will get to do a zip line and receive your 5th poker card.

For those of you who are not doing the trail run, all vendors should be set up by 12:00 noon.

Keep your appetites ready, because you will have HoneyBear’s BBQ, kettle corn, snow cones and other goodies waiting on your return.

T-shirts and hats may be purchased at the starting point with cash or you may purchase on your return to the dealership with a credit card in the parts department.
T-shirts will be $15.00.
Flex Fit Hats will be $18.00
Basic Hats will be $10.00
T-shirt plus Flex Fit will be $30.00
T-shirt plus Basic will be $22.00

Have fun and I will see you back at the dealership.
