How did Sunflower Mines go for you? I was about to do a write up on it as we went first week of January.

Hey man, looking to install my lift on the 9th, wanting to go test it out on the 10th out at Needle Rock. Let me know if interested. This is a simple trail, its a sandy wash bottom with lots of bumps. Nothing to really write home about but it should be enough to test the new suspension. Let me know!

It's north east of Fountain Hills. Take Dynamite Blvd all the way out and then turn left at Needlerock Rd. Follow it around until you come to the river. The trail starts there.

Sorry, didn't realize.

Put these into Google Earth and it will take you to the Needle Rock turn off.
Lat: 33.741513°
Long: -111.671922°

Put these into Google Earth and it will take you to the start of the trail.

Tentatively we will meet at 9150 E Indian Bend Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85258 ‎ at 6:30AM and wait for people to show up until about 7:00AM then head up after everyone gets there. If this changes then I will let everyone know.

Hope this helps!

Sorry one other thing I forgot to mention is that there are a couple of signs stating a "Tonto Pass is required for Recreation Sites", however our last trip out there we spoke with a park official and he stated that since we are in the wash and not at the river or any other camping sites or picnic areas that we are just "passing through" and do not need a pass. If you still want to get one that's up to you.

Yeah, it is a sandy wash, fairly short. I have a buddy of mine who takes his Subaru Impreza AWD out and has no problem... except for the fact that he tends to pop his front bumper off every now and then lol. There is nothing real technical about it. Just a nice drive and should be good enough to find out if I have any issues with the lift install. There is one location along the trail we like to call "photo rock" that we drive up on and take pics, but that is optional.

You don't need a pass unless you park just so you guys know. I will be up there all day today and some of tomorrow if anyone wants to wheel.

Shoot me an email at hskr4x4@gmail.com

Need help with my JK guys

What's going on guys. New to the forum here, some pretty good info so far. Well I recently destroyed the suspension on my 13 JKU and tipped her on her side. As fun as that was I totaled her ,
however I bought her back and now need to her back on her wheels.

If anyone is in Arizona and knows where to get some cheap parts please let me know. I Basically need all new front axle, suspension and misc steering parts. I will know more after I rip into her next weekend.
