Sedona Camping

What's the best time of year to go to Sedona for a few days? The wife and I are talking about taking the motorhome to Sedona this year and do some wheelin' and sight seeing. We're in the process of putting together our camping calendar for next year and I was wondering when is the best time to go.

Thanks in advance for the info.

I was there in the first part of October (many years ago) and it was absolutely beautiful! A bit cooler weather and not as many tourists made it even better.

Sedona is about a mile high. It does get colder with some snow in the winter. However it stays cooler longer. The only months I would avoid are July and August. Pretty warm those times of year.

When the time gets closer let me know and we can get you into some wheeling up there.

Depends on what you consider hot weather? The fall is awesome. September or October it should be in the 70's. Check the national weather service's website for normal temp's.
