I dont think anyone on this run has a manual transmission. I am sure it has been done though.

Alot of "old school" guys prefer manual transmisions...kids today dont know to drive them!

I don't drive a manual because I am lazy. Plus my knees are wicked jacked up from being a paratrooper. Auto is just easier on my body.

ya I am lazy too!

BTW A friend of mine said that there was some spots to climb in that gully where we turned around. I l have to ask him where specifically.

do you need a permit or OHV permit to go off roading in jeeps here? Just wondering.

If your Jeep is street legal and licensed you will not. If you plan on driving on Arizona Trust Land than you will need a state trust land permit. http://www.azland.gov/programs/natur...ion_permit.htm will give you more details.

Yeah I was planning on heading to bulldog or rolls but not sure if I can. I know bulldog requires a permit and the places are closed weekends to get them.
