Trails in Arizona and going spareless

I currently have my spare on my stock carrier. I am looking to maybe going with a tramp stamp etc..

I wanted to see what folks views are on hitting the trails with no spare here in Arizona.

I havent ever see anyone have a flat but I have a limited amount of time on the trails also.

Shawn

In 2 yrs I've had 1 bent rim causing a flat which I culda bent the rim back and aired it up but changing was faster. Have had 2 others cut a tire on the simplest of trails so it can and will happen if u get out enuf. i wouldn't b caught dead w/o a spare myself especially as remote as some of az's trails r

Years ago in my lifted bronco I got 2 at once! I was in a creek bed and a monsoon started pouring so we were trying to hi tail it outta there and I hit a lil burm and well...bent 2 aluminum wheels (I run steelies now). Luckily one wasn't too bad and was able to get tire back on rim. IMO never go without at least 1 spare.

Just make sure you wheel with other people who run spares. They wont mind you borrowing their spare. No problem.

I run a spare, its in the trunk. I try to have everything I may need to get me off the trail. I will be doing the Gap on Sat. There is also a run over on Reddington. I need to create both events on SVOR but since we are not hosting them I am not in to much of a hurry.

Not sure what magic bus you speak of, but that may be from all the concussions I had earlier in life. What the heck do you call the area between the rear seat and the tailgate? Its not the bed of the truck, storage space sounds like you would put your fabrics and bows in it. Cargo area maybe, but that sounds like a Honda. Whatever, my spare is behind my seats in front of my tailgate.

Some carry theirs inside. I ALWAYS run a spare! Some guys don't because they have this belief "it won't happen to me" complex. Eventually if you wheel enough you will pop a bead, slice a sidewall etc. We've come up on guys that don't carry one then when they get a flat and they either have to stop an try and fix it or they're begging for a spare... Leaving someone that came prepared without a spare. And stopping trail progress because an easy fix was made difficult because of a personal decision.
GO PREPARED OR STAY HOME!

Not carrying a spare and counting on being able to borrow someone else's Is not cool.

Just my opinion. Not meaning to sound like an ass.

I was referring the the guy with the white Moab package.

Actually I think the unlimited has more space behind the back seat than the 2 doors.

I dint know what you would call it..a Cadillac has a trunk...a jeep Iam not sure!

Agree go prepared or stay home. Not tryin 2 b a douche either but im not giving up my spare 4 somebody that didn't come prepared. If somebody blows a tire and has a spare and then blows another I'm cool with letting somebody use my spare cuz not like there's a ton of room to carry a 2nd but if you cant at least bring 1 spare im not givin up mine 4 u.

I'll just keep the spare on the stock carrier for now I guess. I'll need to figure out which route to go for a carrier...without buying a new r rear bumper.

I am actually going to move my spare to the roof. I have a yakima basket, just trying to figure out how to mount it to the hard top without using a rail system. Trying to keep the basket low, so I can get my Jeep in the garage.
