Tucson Anyone?

I just got a 92 and am looking for other Jeepers in the area for advice on trails, parts, shops, etc.

Have you been out to Reddington yet? Where in Tucson are you at?
I'm a Tucson resident for 6 more days (graduate).

I'm in Tucson too, just got back into Jeeping last year after a 37 year hiatus. As previously mentioned, Reddington Pass has great trails and there is a fun one that goes up and over My Lemon. For parts, I do most of mt shopping on-line but 4 Wheel Drive Hardware has a shop on Speedway just east of Alvernon. For a shop, I haven't used them myself, but there's Desert Rat. They have several locations but the one I checked out is on Palo Verde just north of Ajo (I forget the other locations).

Hope this helps,
Happy Jeeping!

I've been up reddington to shoot but never for trails, I imagine there's some good ones up there.
I'm on the NW side of town and Trail Boss Off Road is right down the street from me. Have you heard anything about them?
My girl needs some work (cooling system, engine/trans mounts, etc.) and I'm hoping to do some myself (with some bribery to my friends) but I hate gaskets and my exhaust is in complete disrepair...
Thanks for the input!

Hmm I've never heard of Trail Boss Off Road, I know a former employee of Desert Rat, and he has all good thoughts about them.

If you ever go to Phx, I would check into Absolute Offroad. Joe is the greatest guy in the world and very fair pricing.

I live up by Catalina and posted to cam' in his thread. I am up for wheeling on the weekend. I am pretty stock-ish except for tires, and have the evap relocation kit still to install. I also have a Tereflex BB to go on, and new shocks and springs. Still...
The best jeep shop in Tucson, I am told but can't seem to get my jeep in there, is Lloyds Transmissions off of Dodge (just north of Ajo). Very reasonable $$$, very knowledgable, but hard to get in.

If any (or all) of you wanna plan a weekend trip, I am up for it.

Bob
