That is a slick ride. My first bike was an 01 CBR 600 F4i. She met an untimely demise wrapped around the front of a minivan. Ive moved on to Harleys after I wrecked two more sportbikes. Definitely a more comfortable ride and more time spent enjoying the scenery instead of seeing how much skin I can scrape off my knees in turns or tempting fate.

Too true, and they don't take up nearly as much space. What time is the wrenching on the 10th? perhaps I'll be able to swing by on my way to work?

I was born in Tuscon and experienced my first Jeep there. My dad had a Military Jeep, not sure what model it was. I remember playing in the Jeep. I haven't been back since we moved when I was a toddler. Someday...

I'm the same way.
Born here, grew up in central AZ got my first Jeep from my Grand Parents, retired from Air Force (no fly-boy comments Jim) and came home.
Hope you make it back

Nice, too much chrome for my taste but it is yours and fuck everyone elses opinion. Wrenching I believe starts at 8:00 am and will be going all day. I will have my jeep since I have to bring tools.

We welcome anyone and everyone,(see below). This is my first jeep ever and probably my last. I am keeping this thing til I can't wheel no more.

So what is your other bike then? I hope that you don't make your boyfriend ride on the back.

? I only have one bike. My other bike is my jeep.
And no, my boyfriend had his own (same bike, but black) but sold it since he works too much and doesn't have time to ride. And he's not allowed to ride on the back. Not that he would. I told him he could borrow mine when I'm not using it though. (I don't ride bitch either, unless I absolutely have to).

So basically you were trying to decipher whether it was actually my bike or if it was my bf's and because I rode on the back, I claimed it as mine too (which I find that many women do) lol. So, its understandable. It's all mine ... So is the jeep

No not that at all. On JKO you said you had a boyfriend and just wanted to know if he rode bitch. But now that you have explained that he used to have one but now doesn't. What does he do when you go ride?

Well, our relationship is pretty cool in the fact that we do what we want, and see each other when we have time. Very relaxed, and individual. When I'm out riding, he's usually either working, or too tired from work, or has shit to catch up on in his office, or whatever else he has planned. Maybe kill some bitches on the xbox. Lol. We're both pretty good at finding shit to do. neither of us are TV watchers... So we're never bored.
He works, a lot, and in the meantime I have full time school, social life, gym, riding, and now jeeping to keep me busy. It works out for both of us that I'm not a nag about him working all the time (I know it's not forever) and he doesn't flip out about me hanging out with my guy friends (because I do guy stuff). It's pretty sweet. It would be awesome if he got a jeep, but I honestly think he wouldn't have time for it.

I learned sometime ago that if you don't get to enjoy the fruits of your labor, i.e. bikes, jeeps, etc. then why are you working in the first place. I used to work every saturday then realized that I have worked hard enough while I was in the Corps. So now Saturday and Sunday are for me days.

Just don't get caught up so much in work that before you know it you are too old to enjoy the things you have worked for. Ain't that right Lyle.

Yeah we both know that. For him it's a short term sacrifice for a long term goal. He's just very motivated to be retired early. He's still 24 (yes, I'm older) and the goal is to have ALL his days free in the next couple years, so it's ok for now. He's motivated enough to do it. I don't mind because I'm in a masters program (and possibly a doctorate after that) and don't have the time to give my all in a relationship either without sacrificing my me time. So we spend what we can together, and were both pretty content that way . I feel for him sometimes, but we all make our own beds.

Too much chrome for me as well, but I inherited it from my dad when he passed and he loved chrome. For the 10th, I get out of work around 0730. I'll PM you to get the location. Can't stay too long, have to be back at work at 1900 and need sleep.
