I may come down for that, even though I hate driving I-10 between PHX and TUC. I wish my uncle were still alive to accompany me.

Brings back memories. My dad used to jump (skydive) out that way in the early 80's. Marana Skydive Center... I believe it was called. we'd be out there all the time.

I looked at the website and for those who can't make Marana, they will be at Glendale and Scottsdale municipal airports just after Marana, but there is no Eegee's in Maricopa County anymore.

When the CAF had their B-17G at Glendale back a few years ago, I took the wife up in a 30 minute flight. As a pilot, she had a blast and it was easily worth the $350 each it cost then to fly.

To ride in a piece of history was incredible. The smell of Avgas and oil burning through the Wright radials through the open bomb bay was intoxicating!
